Meeting 2011-03-24¶

Summary :
- synchronization works but some things still have to be done, including "delete old RPMs" and "cron job or daemon for regular synchronization"
- Adrien Gallou (ttp) will try to finish tickets related to the filtering UI before the end of this week-end
- Samuel Verschelde (stormi) will try to finish the "delete old RPMs" and fix various bugs before the end of this week-end
- if there's no time for it, regular synchronization can be delayed to milestone 0.3, as it is already doable in a custom way
- stormi will sort the remaining tickets for 0.2 so that we can decide next week if we release the 0.2 release in time or use an extra delay in order to complete some more tasks

[21:11] <Stormi> there are also a bug in synchronization : \n is not converted to a newline
[21:12] <Stormi> once I have fixed that and the "delete old RPMs" thing, I will be able to re-do test data for all distros
[21:12] <ttp> yes, but i think that if it is not fixed for the 0.2, it won't be a probem

[21:20] <ttp> yes, the filtering UI has been improved last week, there still some work
[21:20] <Stormi> I prefer that you work on the filtering UI rather that the regular synchro, if there's to choose

[21:21] <ttp> because don't we will found some architecture problems when doing the synchro

[21:21] <Stormi> as you said earlier, the synchro already works, so we can delay the "clean" cron job or daemon a bit if needed
[21:21] <ttp> besides, it will be easier for me, i'm kind of tired, so filtering is easier to start :)

[21:22] <Stormi> and we have many tickets
